Inspiration

Rooted in the moody landscapes of the Peak District, I create bespoke silver jewellery, crafted by hand from crucible to completion. Living at the foothills of the Roaches, my work is influenced by natural forms, muted colours and the quiet strength of the surrounding landscape.
Alongside my jewellery practice, I offer intimate workshops for all ages, shaped by over 20 years’ experience as a product design educator.

Workshop Overview

Learn traditional jewellery-making techniques in small, relaxed workshops designed for complete beginners and those looking for a thoughtful, creative gift. Each session is guided step by step, with no prior experience needed and all materials included. You’ll leave with a finished piece of jewellery that you’ve made yourself.

Workshops are offered as private 1:1 sessions, or you may choose to bring loved ones to share the experience. For comfort and individual guidance, a maximum of four participants per session is recommended.

All workshops are available year-round by request and make ideal gift experiences. A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required when booking.

My work

Each stone is selected for its natural strength and the way it echoes the character and colours of the local environment.

Signature pieces

My signature rings feature a silver bezel set with carefully selected cabochons. Some designs carry subtle textures taken from found materials encountered on walks, while others are left deliberately simple and raw. Colours and stones vary with each piece, ensuring no two rings are ever the same.

While designs can be recreated on request, each ring is made by hand and will naturally carry small variations, preserving the individuality of every piece.

Recycled silver

All work is made using 925 recycled silver, much of it sourced locally and re-processed by hand to create new pieces with a reduced environmental impact.

Commission

Commissioned pieces are developed through a collaborative and thoughtful process. An initial discussion with the client helps to determine the purpose of the ring and any personal considerations that may inform the design.

A suitable gemstone or stone is then selected together, taking into account colour, character and meaning. From this, initial design ideas are created and shared, allowing time for discussion and refinement before the piece is crafted by hand from start to finish. Allowing each design to be tailored to the wearer while reflecting my materials, process and aesthetic.
